Our History
The Perth Integrated Events Team (PIET) has been a staple as part of the Perth Integrated Health Group of Companies now for over 23 years.
Fundamentally started off with its associated business monikers Perth Integrated Health Cycling Group (PIHCG), Perth Integrated Trisport Group and Swimstrong Academy all of which were the vehicles from which we ran many sports focused events and programs including training programs.
There are people who are now in the Perth Integrated Health Management Team who are clearly aware of these platforms which they had previously worked within, which includes a significant number of big-ticket events such as the City to Surf, Rottnest Channel Swim, Telstra Triathlon Series, Sunsmart Triathlon Series, Dams Challenge, World Masters Athletes Championships and World Masters Cycling Championship etc to name but a few from the hundreds we have been associated with. We have graduated some 1081 triathletes, 2300 cyclists and some 1800 swimmers from our programs over the expense of time which is an accolade seldom realised.
This part of the company has therefore significant rich history and heritage which while temporarily affected by the pandemic, has in 2023 emerged stronger and even more viable than ever.
During the pandemic years, we continued to operate under the shadow of restrictions and unlike many other Event Management companies who are now confined to history, our multi-tasking and multi-disciplinary portfolios have meant that we not only survived but thrived to a certain degree.
2023 saw the resurgence of several shelved programs namely our Business Networking Forums and Group, often which were we rain make for our other companies by way of referral, recommencement of our Symposiums with the Essentials for Women being the feather in the cap. This year also saw the recommencement of our Corporate Golf Day which we paired with the storied branding of Maserati.
We also ran a full suite of cycling events from which we derive a lot of our community outreach and specifically for our sports medicine team.
