We are excited to announce the return on the Perth Hills Gran Fondo for 2025.
After a hiatus due to the pandemic, it was great to see the return of this unique hills ride in 2024. The Perth Hills Gran Fondo has its roots from the City of Armadale Grand Fondo which historically is the first ever Gran Fondo ever held in Western Australia and thus no new arrival to the scene of community participation events.
This ride will once again offer the choice of three distances which transverse through the Perth Hills covering Kalamunda, Gooseberry Hill, Boya, Darlington, Mundaring, Carmel and Pickering Brook, all commencing for Gooseberry Hill.
Our charity partner for 2025 is Alzheimer's Research Australia. Alzheimer’s is not a normal part of aging; it’s a physical brain condition that gradually erodes cognitive abilities, leading to impaired thinking, behaviour, and loss of memory. Alzheimer’s Research Australia are tirelessly searching for ways to diagnose, prevent, and treat Alzheimer’s disease. To understand it, we must delve into the roots of the disease.
Make every kilometre that you ride assist the Alzheimer’s Research Australia and the Brain & Cognition Clinic provide for community screening programs for the early detection and awareness of Alzheimer’s
