Welcome to the 2025 Tour of Cowaramup, marking the second year of the event.

The Perth Integrated Events Team (PIET) has been at the forefront for a similar event called the Tour de Gracetown for the past 12 years and in 2025, with the amicable separation in line with how we work with charitable organisations and boards, we have created this event which is unique with features that you will appreciate.

The increased costs over the years also crossing certain intersections such as Caves Road and Bussell Hwy has led us to a blank canvas but one which you will appreciate for the safety that it brings.

Consider the following:

The event will START and END at Juniper Estate in Cowaramup.
There will be a signature ride component adjacent to the township of Cowaramup from which we derive our event name.
There will be significant focus towards the support of local business and to promote local tourism within the catchment of Cowaramup.
The charity that we will be fund raising has been the same for many years, namely PCaHELP which supports men suffering / surviving prostate cancer.
There will be THREE distances being the Piccolo, Medio and the Gran all of which are brand new routes which do not require crossing any major traffic intersections.
There will be no repeat loops in the three courses all of which derive from Piccolo, leading to the Medio and then to the Gran
Car Parking will be easier with the Event Village activities all confined to Juniper Estate.
Two water stations selected to assist all three distances.

Start / Finish: Juniper Estate, 98 Tom Cullity Drive, Cowaramup

Event Times

Saturday 11th Oct – Matinee

Collect your event bibs, merchandise and wine orders from 1 pm to 3 pm at Juniper Estate

Sunday 12th Oct – Event Day

6:30 - 7:30 am: Event sign in / Event bib pick up at Juniper Estate
7:30 am: Registration and sign in closes - no exceptions for late arrivals
7:40 am: Safety Briefing for ALL riders at Juniper Estate
8:00: Riders depart Juniper Estate

Gran 130 km
Medio 85 km
Piccolo 60 km

Terms And Condition Of Entry

The Tour of Cowaramup is designed for the recreational cyclist and the serious road rider, even though this is not a race. This is a charitable event which allows our cycling community to support the local community and tourism in the precinct of Cowaramup and the South West corridor of Western Australia.

E-bicycles are also welcome as they are an emerging form of additional transport which has enabled many people to explore and regain and redevelop their fitness and conditioning as well as recreate and exercise.

All registrations submitted and accepted requires payment in full.
There are no refunds or part payments permitted.
There are no transfer of registrations from one rider to another. This will invalidate the insurance coverage of the rider for this event and they will be liable for any injuries, accidents or death that may occur during this event.
This Event refers to the time of official commencement by the Event Director and the time of official closure. Start and end times of this event will be posted to Participants and they will receive support only during these official Event times.
Participants will receive emailed information about the Tour of Cowaramup closer to the date of the event.
All maps and GPX / TCX files pertaining to this event will also be emailed to participants closer to the date of the event.
This is an Open Road event, and once again not a Race and the WA Road Rules apply. There will be no official timing or prizes for categories as this will be deemed as a race.
All bikes must be fitted with appropriate bike lights. Bike lights are compulsory, no lights, no ride.
All participants must also carry their designated Mobile Phone whose number is registered in this registration.
The use of a mobile phone and public speaker with music is not permitted while riding the bike.
Helmets which are of Australian standard are to be used throughout the event by the cycling participants.
Participants are to take instructions from the designated events team from Perth Integrated Events Team and the appointed volunteers on the day of the event.
