The Bridges Night Ride will take you on a magical night ride around the Perth CBD and the lower reaches of the Swan and Canning River on Saturday 11th January 2025.
In our 12th year and being the original Night Ride – it is sure to charm as we take you through routes that you may not have explored and for our anticipated interstate cycling friends, the perfect way to tour around the City and see the night sights.
The 2025 Bridges Night Ride has also an associated link as we support many incoming Cycling tourists to the state of Western Australia as they come in to support and or participate in the National Road Series Championships. Our which is not a race is therefore for the community and for tourism to promote the wonderful sights of Perth by night.
Bike lights are a must for this ride, but we want you to go one step further for this event! Dress up in your brightest reflective gear and decorate your bikes with lights, reflective strips and glow sticks and make it a night to remember.
Event Information
Event Date: Saturday 11th January 2025
Time: 5pm registration. 5.30pm Start. Expected finish will be 900 pm. Do stay back for soft drinks and nibbles and chat the night away with like minded cyclists.
Start / Finish: 48 Kishorn Road in APPLECROSS at the Perth Integrated Health – Southern Clinic
Parking: Free along Kishorn Road and adjacent roads after 5 pm
Distances: 40km or 70km
*Riders under the age of 18 are restricted to 40km
Entry Fees
Entry fees includes event insurance, support on the ride with safety vehicles and event crew on bikes and a complimentary cuppa before the ride and nibbles post ride. There will also be Lucky Draw Prizes and Winners for the Best Well Lit Bike and Rider of the event!

Please Note
- All children riding must be accompanied by a consenting and participating adult as we have no supervision services for children on this ride.
- Riders under the age of 18 are restricted to 40km distance only
The Route
The 40 km and 70 km riders will cover the same route which will see participants in teams guided by Ride Captains and End Riders for each group.
The Ride will no doubt cover the many Bridges that traverse Perth’s Canning and Swan River and the uniqueness of the major Bridges will be part of the Tourism allure as we cover the significance of these bridges to our transportation including Cycling.
The 70 km riders will deviate from the 40 km on near to the pathway in East Perth while they continue onto the upper reaches of the Swan River through Maylands and Ashfield with the turn point being the new Tonkin Hwy underpass before heading back towards Belmont and Ascot along the River.
40 km riders don’t miss out either with same major stops such as Elizabeth Quay and Optus Stadium to name a few.
The entire event is on established bike pathways with no traffic management therefore required.
