Get Ready To Ride

The Perth Coastal Bike Ride is the new look into hosting a safer and community engaging Charity Bike Event along the West Coast of the Perth Metropolitan Region.

Many traditional aspects of routes previously designed by the Perth Integrated Events Team some 16 years ago are now deemed to be traffic density intensive and we have therefore examined and explored new routes to ensure that events we produce a not only fresh and engaging but also acceptance progressive challenges for the discerning cyclist.

The Perth Coastal Bike Ride which will be held on the Sunday the 24th November 2024 therefore have these key indices that will drive community engagement and participation:

  • Coverage of coastal  routes from Hilliarys to Two Rocks
  • Hosting the same Start / Stop location for the Event Village at Whitfords Nodes
  • Expanding the fund  raising up to six discerning Charity groups that will be agreeable with      our vision of shared community.
  • Allowing the appointed  Charities to conduct their own fund raising and out reach to their Cycling      contacts while we focus on the Ride Event itself.
  • Working with established  partners whom we have vetted for safety and wellbeing such as Taborda  Traffic Management our TMP provider.

The Perth Integrated Events Team (PIET) has been at the helm of event managing Cycling based events for the past 25 years with known previous events such as the Ocean Ride, Tour de Gracetown, Tims Ride, Tour of York, Tour of Toodyay and in recent times City of Armadale Gran Fondo, Perth Hills Gran Fondo, Albany Ride, Tour of Cowaramup, Tour of the Jacarandas and the Bridges Night Ride.  Cycling events in short is in our DNA as we are cyclists who ride and design events for cyclists!
